Privacy Policy

The MRI Academy uses personal information to operate its website, coordinate clinical training, maintain attendance and clinical-hour records, and provide secure portal access.

Training records are private.

Portal access is assigned by role. Students see their own records; Academy staff see records needed for training operations; and authorized Program Liaisons are limited to students associated with their school.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site or portal, we may collect contact information, school affiliation, student identifiers, cohort and training-site information, schedules, attendance timestamps, approved clinical hours, correction requests, portal-access information, operational notes, and document-status metadata.

How we use information

We use information to administer clinical training, document attendance and hours, coordinate schedules, support partner-school reporting, manage access, address attendance exceptions, maintain security, and communicate about Academy services.

Role-based access

Portal records are not intended to be publicly accessible. The Academy uses authenticated access and server-side authorization rules to limit information according to the user’s role and, where applicable, school affiliation.

Data minimization

The portal is designed for clinical-education administration, not for maintaining patient medical records. Users should not enter patient-identifying information or unnecessary medical details into notes or document-status fields.

Service providers

We may use service providers to host the website, authenticate users, store application data, send communications, and operate technical infrastructure. These providers process information on our behalf as needed to provide their services.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for training administration, school reporting, legal or contractual obligations, and record integrity. We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Partner-school requirements

Privacy obligations can depend on the relationship between The MRI Academy, a partner school, and the student. The portal’s access controls are designed to support those relationships, but use of the portal by itself does not determine which education or privacy laws apply to a particular record.
